Founder & Lead Mathematics Mentor
Harshvardhan Singh Chauhan
Hi, I'm Harshvardhan — founder and lead mathematics mentor at Asymptode. I teach one-on-one with a method-first approach: build genuine understanding, not shortcut memorisation. As a senior mentor I keep enrollment selective so every session is calm, structured, and paced to how the student actually thinks.

About
Get to know me
I started teaching because I genuinely liked the moment when a confusing problem becomes obvious — not through tricks, but through a method that shows the student exactly where each step comes from. After 8+ years of one-on-one sessions I still find it the most satisfying part of the work.
My background is in engineering and applied mathematics. I specialise in mathematics mentorship from foundational algebra and geometry through calculus, SAT/ACT Math, AP Calculus, and olympiad foundations. The approach stays the same regardless of level — slow down, build the structure, then speed up naturally.
Enrollment is intentionally small. Every student I take on gets careful preparation before each session: reviewing their last homework, choosing examples that match their current thinking, and noting what landed well and what didn't. That's not possible with a full roster.

The Asymptode mentor standard
Every mentor on our team is held to the same bar — depth, patience, and honest communication.
Subject mastery first
Deep technical foundation in mathematics — from foundational arithmetic through advanced calculus and proof-based topics.
Method-first teaching
Every concept is broken into the smallest working pieces. Students learn the why, not just the steps.
Adaptive pacing
Enrollment is capped intentionally so each student gets an approach tailored to their exact thinking patterns.
Honest parent communication
Short updates after every session. No fluff — just what improved and what needs a gentle push next week.
