Get to know me
I came to teaching through a deep curiosity about how living systems and chemical processes work. Biology and chemistry reward that curiosity, and I love watching a student have the same “oh, that's why” moment when a concept clicks. That moment is what every session is aimed at.
My background is in the sciences, with a strong grounding in Biology and Chemistry from foundational levels through higher-grade and pre-university work. Over 5+ years of one-on-one teaching, I've worked with students across CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and IB — adapting session format and pacing to match wherever the student currently is. Physics support is available where it complements a student's syllabus, but my primary focus is biology and chemistry.
The biggest mistake in science tuition is jumping straight to formulas. I work backwards: start with the intuition, build a mental model, then show how the formula is just a shorthand for something the student already understands. Students remember it far longer, and exam questions stop feeling unfamiliar.
